Hello World,
Today I take great pride in announcing the final public release of my new Toolbar Extras plugin. It was coded in February and March of 2018 but its history goes way back to 2011 and especially to 2012 when it’s “sister” plugin “Multisite Toolbar Additions” was first released. All my WordPress experience and passion plus my coding history went into this new project. My hope and my goal is, that it will help you with your daily site-bulding work.
A long time coming, and change upon change within the WordPress ecosystem, I believe, I finally nailed it with this plugin for the WordPress Admin Bar / Toolbar: Toolbar Extras is particularly for the Elementor page builder but it is not depending on it, rather enhancing the building process with it beyond the live editor. So to say, Toolbar Extras features a more general approach to do some improvements to the Admin Bar / Toolbar. The plugin’s essential focus is on the site-building process as it aims on site-builders, non-techies and non-coder designers the most.
This is also the main difference with all the Toolbar plugins I’ve done before since 2011. Toolbar Extras is there when you need it to speed up your work. I recommend you to first install Elementor and a theme that works perfectly with it, like Astra, GeneratePress, OceanWP or Genesis – and then install and activate Toolbar Extras. That’s the way to do it, yeah.
Head up to your admin dashboard, go to the plugin installer and search for “toolbar extras”, install and activate and be ready for a “playground session” in your local development install. I guess, you won’t regret it.
That being said, you’ll find plenty of resources on the website for the plugin. I am there for you if you have any question. Best options are the Facebook User Group as well as the plugin’s support forum on wordpress dot org.
And now, on to a happy site-building — let the Toolbar work for you! 😉
