Smart Tweaks for Third-Party Plugins

Toolbar Extras currently features the following “Smart Tweaks” in regards of third-party plugins – any setting can be enabled/ disabled, of course:

Re-hook items from the top-level Toolbar to a sub-item in Site Group or other Group:

  • Gravity Forms
  • Smart Slider 3 (free version)
  • NextGen Gallery (free version)
  • UpdraftPlus (free version)
  • iThemes Security (free version)
  • Members
  • Yoast SEO / Yoast SEO Premium
  • SEOPress / SEOPress Pro
  • Elementor Inspector
  • StylePress for Elementor
  • WP Rocket
  • Autoptimize
  • Swift Performance Lite / Swift Performance Pro

Remove top-level items completely:

  • All In One SEO Pack (free version)
  • Custom CSS Pro
  • Products by “Cobalt Apps” (this includes Dynamik Website Builder, Genesis Extender, Genesis DevKit, Freelancer Framework, Freelancer DevKit, Extender Pro, Themer Pro, Instant IDE)
All items of these supported plugins are added to Site Group or Build Group anyways – and better integrated also 🙂
  • Admin Page Spider (free version) / Admin Page Spider Pro Pack (Premium)
Items are integrated in Site Group anyways
  • Easy Updates Manager
Items are integrated in Site Group anyways
  • WooCommerce Post Type items in New Content Group
    • Orders
    • Coupons

Tweaking for compatibility:

  • Multisite Toolbar Additions (MSTBA) — Reason is simple: regarding items for Site Group and New Content both plugins do pretty much the same, where Toolbar Extras has the more modern and general approach to it (and more extended plugin support). Therefore Toolbar Extras has higher priority in that regard and removes some items of MSTBA.
