Sometimes after a new major version release of Toolbar Extras it could happen that newly added settings to the plugin are not taking any effect yet. While the plugin has an integrated settings updater there are factors depending on your install that may lead to the result that the settings are still not updated.
So, don’t worry, there is a very easy solution: Just save the settings again on the plugin’s settings page. Go to WordPress Settings > Toolbar Extras and save each tab’s settings one time – or just tweak them to your liking.
